Amir Chand Jagdish Kumar (Exports) Ltd – Key Risks
  • Dependence on Raw Material Supply – The company’s business relies heavily on procuring basmati paddy. Fluctuations in availability or cost can negatively impact operations and profitability.
  • Working Capital Intensive Operations – Due to seasonal procurement and long ageing cycles of basmati rice, the business requires significant working capital. Any shortfall in funds or financing may affect operations.
  • No Long‑Term Material Contracts – The company depends on procurement agents without long‑term supply agreements. Delays or failure in timely procurement of quality raw materials can disrupt production.
  • Export Policy and Trade Risks – A large part of revenue comes from exports. Changes in trade policies, tariffs, or restrictions in India or importing countries can adversely affect export demand and margins.
  • Quality Compliance Requirements – Failure to meet strict quality standards required by customers and regulators could lead to cancellation of orders and damage market reputation.
  • Intense Competition – The basmati rice and packaged foods market is highly competitive with both organised and unorganised players, affecting pricing power and market share.
  • Foreign Exchange Fluctuation – With significant export revenue, adverse movements in foreign currency exchange rates can affect earnings and profitability.

*Note: These risks are based on the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) and industry‑relevant factors for the proposed IPO. Investors should read the official RHP / Prospectus carefully before investing.*
